This newly created BDM role offers the opportunity to build market presence, win strategic clients and work alongside an experienced technical leadership team.
How will you contribute?
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new clients while nurturing long-term partnerships once accounts are established.
You will:
Identifying and engaging organisations
Building relationships with C-suite executives and senior IT leaders
Mapping accounts and developing targeted sales strategies
Generate opportunities through traditional networking and social selling
Leading discovery discussions and qualifying potential clients
Managing complex sales cycles that may span 3–12+ months
Collaborating with technical specialists on solution development
Support long-term client relationships following successful engagements
Strengthening brand visibility and market credibility

$120k base salary + super | $210k–$250k OTE

What do you need to be successful?
5+ years enterprise B2B sales experience
Background in IT services, cloud, infrastructure or cybersecurity sales
Proven success winning new business
Confidence engaging and selling to C-level and senior IT leaders
Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles
Strong prospecting and pipeline generation capability
A consultative sales approach - trusted advisor rather than transactional seller
High levels of self-motivation, ownership, professionalism and accountability
Sydney-based for client engagement
