Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Manager who excels at relationship building and will grow the Melbourne market for a well-established supplier of warehouse storage systems, industrial racking and office fit outs.
This is a role ideal for new business hunters who value stability, flexibility and an outstanding company culture.

What Will You Be Doing?
Melbourne is your playground. You'll be building this territory from the ground up, calling on warehouse, logistics and manufacturing businesses across the city to walk the floor, understand their storage challenges and create tailored solutions across racking, fit-outs and office furniture. You’ll be:
Prospecting across the phone, LinkedIn and face-to-face site visits
Growing existing accounts and asking for referrals from happy customers
Working closely with technical specialists and installation teams
Visiting construction sites and warehouse floors regularly (if you don’t already have a White Card, you’ll be supported to get one)
One of your selling tools will be a compliance angle: our client works with an independent Australian Standards warehouse auditor, giving you a credible reason to start conversations with businesses who may not even know their racking is non-compliant, turning cold outreach into a value-add conversation.

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently - the broader team is Shepparton-based, so you'll own your days in Melbourne without someone looking over your shoulder
Experience in B2B, industrial, construction, manufacturing, consumables or office furniture sales will be highly regarded.
Driver’s licence required. Ideally based in Melbourne's northern suburbs or surrounds so you're close to the heart of the territory and within reasonable reach of the Shepparton team.
